The Healing Power of Colloidal Silver

The “Garden Island” of Kauai is truly paradise. I had planned this two-and-a-half-day campout in Hawaii for weeks. Picture it: The October full moon on the remote beach of Poli-Hale at the south side of the Pali with a beautiful woman. It doesn’t get much better.
I brought my long board and surf casting gear. We set up camp under a large tree growing right on the sand, in the middle of a five-mile-long stretch of beautiful beach.
Gentle tropical breezes, medium surf, and no sounds or sight of humanity. On the first night, I decided to boil water for spaghetti, but I was having trouble with the propane stove. It wouldn’t stand up properly and I had to constantly monitor it. When the water finally boiled, I put the pasta in and occasionally stirred it. Finally when it was done, I prepared to remove the two-gallon pot, looked away for a second and spilled the entire contents onto my leg from knee to ankle.
I have a very high threshold for pain, but this was over the edge. I needed two bullets to bite, and all I could do was clench my teeth and hang on. The pain was excruciating. My leg turned an ugly dark color and immediately blistered.
Since we were many miles from paved highway and I’ve had many negative experiences with traditional MDs, I did what I always do: I decided to heal myself naturally. I had noticed wild aloe vera growing nearby, and I treated the burn every half hour or so. The cooling aloe was very soothing, but the pain escalated, nonetheless. I was determined to complete our stay, as my companion and I weren’t able to get together very often.
The fourth day after the burn, we returned to civilization. I was truly in a dilemma. The bottom of my leg was obviously infected, and the entire leg was now black, weeping a thin, yellow liquid. We ran into a friend who told us that her mother makes her own colloidal silver and suggested we come over and try it.
We arrived at the woman’s house and she mist-sprayed the solution onto my leg every 10 minutes. Within 30 minutes, the blackness had disappeared and the pain had subsided. Needless to say, we were astonished.
Two weeks after the accident, my leg was almost completely healed—with no burn scars.
I have since researched this marvelous product (the Internet is full of miraculous stories). What I discovered was that colloidal silver prevents and cures a variety of internal and topical bacteria. Medical research has proven that colloidal silver has been successfully used in treating over 650 diseases, including acne, allergies, athlete’s foot, bladder inflammation, parasites, blood poisoning, burns, candida, indigestion, parasitic infections (both viral and fungal), ringworm, staph infections, strep, yeast infections, and dozens of others. It has been proven to be both a remedy and prevention for colds, flu, and infections.
There’s no known disease-causing organism that can live in the presence of even minute traces of metallic silver.
Tasteless and odorless, colloidal silver has been used as a healing tonic for hundreds of years—for people and pets alike.
In the early 1900s, colloidal silver became the first choice of medical practitioners. It proved to be enormously effective against infectious organisms and extremely safe to use, without the negative side effects associated with drugs. The detrimental effect of antibiotics on the naturally occurring flora in the colon is a well known fact. Colloidal silver does not disturb this vital environment. My research uncovered a variety of publications expounding on the benefits of colloidal silver. A 1994 Newsweek cover story titled “Antibiotics: The End of Miracle Drugs?” states: “The rise of drug resistant germs is unparalleled in recorded history…Penicillin and tetracycline lost their power over staph back in the 1950s and 60s.” In a related 1995 article, Time magazine stated that in 1992 alone, “13,300 hospital patients died of infections that resisted every drug doctors tried.” And back in 1978, Science Digest suggested an answer to all these catastrophic problems in an article titled “Our Mightiest Germ Fighter.” The article revealed: “Thanks to eye opening research, silver is emerging as a wonder of modern medicine. An antibiotic kills perhaps half a dozen different disease organisms, but silver kills some 650. Resistant strains fail to develop.”
Moreover, silver is virtually nontoxic. An article by Dr. Henry Crooks entitled “Use of Colloids in Health and Disease” reports that in laboratory tests, he found that “all fungus, virus, bacterium, streptococcus, staphylococcus, and pathogenic organisms are killed by colloidal silver in six minutes or less in a dilution as little as five parts per million.” He also states that it is particularly effective with intestinal problems.
Finally, I discovered a report by the Association for Colloidal Research, stating: “Medical journal reports and documented studies spanning 100 years indicate no known side effects from administration of colloidal silver in animal or human testing.” It went on to say: “There has never been a reported reaction with colloidal silver on any prescription medication.”
So, why haven’t we heard of it before? Silver can’t be patented, so in the 30s, large pharmaceutical companies realized they couldn’t make huge profits from it. These companies focused their attention, patents, and mass advertising on chemical antibiotics, discontinuing the manufacture of colloidal silver.
Silver is used in all major burn centers in the United States, and the University of California, Los Angeles medical labs found it effective on every virus they tested it on, including AIDS. Clinics around the world use colloidal silver in intravenous drips with AIDS patients with amazing results. Why hasn’t the U.S. medical community jumped on this? Put simply, it’s the millions and millions of dollars spent each year for AIDS drugs. Why cut off this cash cow?
