Correcting the physical and emotional health of animals

If you have a pet, be it a dog, a cat, or a horse, you know it has thoughts and feelings. You might also be aware that when human beings become stressed, the immune system is weakened and the “chi” flow is reduced. The same is true for pets. But stress reactions are always and only the end result of interpreting the world in a limiting manner (such as fear). All illness, physical or mental, is a product of the mind or consciousness which is the outgrowth of certain patterns of energy. At this point in our evolution we have really no idea what this energy is other than an aspect of chi, but we can discern the difference between energies, such as how being scared is different from being angry. The acupuncture and yogic traditions have long recognized that our thoughts influence our energy systems (Meridians and Chakras). Emotional and physical problems can be viewed as patterns of energy. For instance, a pattern of energy in the form of sound waves can make music. The quality of that music will be determined by the pattern. Likewise fearful thoughts and emotions are also patterns of energy. The same patterns apply to humans and to pets. If a human being feels abandoned and alone, he or she is under the influence of the same energy pattern as a dog that is feeling abandoned and alone.
When we are stressed or “dis”-eased our meridian and chakra systems become imbalanced, which can also lead to negative feelings. It becomes a vicious cycle (this is also true in the nervous system. When you become scared, your body releases a cascade of neuropeptides that actually make you feel more anxious. You can become conditioned so that these neuropeptides are released, easily making you prone to feeling scared, which then causes you to release even more neuropeptides).
One very effective way to break this cycle is to stimulate the meridians to rapidly bring them back into balance. Practitioners of Energy techniques for humans or animals can stimulate meridians by tapping or using acupuncture needles. The only down side is that it requires special knowledge that only a professional can share with you or your pet.

If one pig gets pneumonia, they all get sick. Pneumonia is also a fear-based disorder.
