An Earth Renewed:
The Environment is our Consciousness
By Pietro Grieco
Have you ever asked yourself why some people see angels and beauty in nature, while others can see only how much money they can make with nature? Why some people honor nature and others seek to exploit it? There are no easy and universal answers to these questions. In some cases the problem may be ignorance, but in most cases it is a belief system that guides us how to relate to nature.
Every Earthen Day
By Jesse Wolf Hardin
Every April a large number of municipalities sanction what can sometimes seem like a perfunctory tip of the hat to the living planet we depend on, grow out of, and one day return our bodies to. We call this “Earth Day,” as if we had spent the remaining 364 days any other place! And to some degree many of us have been caught up in our feeling bodies, inhabiting fear, anxiety, and ambition rather than inhabiting the inspirited world.
Personal Carbon Offsets:
Settling accounts with our planet
By Bill Avrin
You saw Al Gore’s movie; that was easy. You use compact fluorescent lightbulbs, or keep meaning to. You buy your food locally, or feel you should. Yet, if you’re like most of us, you drive to work. You run the air conditioner. You fly once in awhile. Each of those choices burns a little fossil fuel, puts a little carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, and moves earth’s thermometer a little farther into the red zone.

Baobab Butter
I practically live outside and am constantly near or in the water, so I’ve got dry skin, especially on my knees, ankles and elbows. I love using body butter because it keeps my skin moisturized for a long time, and I don’t have to lug around a giant tub in my purse. So you can probably imagine how excited I was when Epoch came out with Baobab Body Butter, which has enthnobotanicals, Macadamia Nut Oil, and Shea Butter combined with the Malawi Baobab Tree extract.
Positively Green Greeting Cards
There’s nothing better than when I receive a letter from a close friend that I haven’t seen in a while, and sending cards in reply. But it’s always bugged me that I’m sending notes on paper that’s taken a toll on the environment. That’s why I was excited when I found the Positively Green Greeting Cards, which are made entirely from recycled paper, soy based ink, and are shipped with minimal packing. These cards are really bright, and spread a positive message with inspiring words that will leave you with a smile on your face.

Earth Cinema Circle
by Sydney L. Murray
Watching the new releases from the Earth Cinema Circle I am reminded of what green living truly is about. It is about the inhabitants of this planet who don’t have a voice. I changed the way I lived when I took a class as an undergraduate entitled Man, Nature and Energy. I understood the Energy Footprint of all of my choices and more than anything, that is why I didn’t want to eat meat.
