Living Life in the Fast Lane:
The Acceleration of the World Mind

Many of us can relate to the feeling that time seems to be going much faster every day. Our boundaries are being blown apart by world events brought into our living rooms during the evening news. Even those of us who have unplugged our televisions are aware that the quicker life seems to flow, the more chaos there seems to be in our own backyards. How do we take the wisdom of the ancients and apply it to lives filled with computers, cell phones and increasing anxiety on our streets?
What if it is possible to read the World Mind—the creative patterns of Earth? As a Mayan Calendar researcher I have reflected on the meaning of time and evolution in my own work, which has always been devoted to healing individuals and the planet. As I share in my book, The Mayan Code: Time Acceleration and Awakening the World Mind, I believe the Mayan Calendar awakens us to the need to stand up and be heard. We must send out a call for peace, deep compassion, and a new understanding of the universe to the governments of the world. Most importantly, this call must begin in our own homes, our own backyards and our communities. We are on the brink of powerful changes, and the Mayan Calendar actually describes how each being on Earth will coalesce into oneness as the spiral of time propels our species into enlightenment during a few short years into 2011.
Carl Johan Calleman, author of The Mayan Calendar: Transformation of Consciousness, interprets the Mayan Calendar as having nine sequential levels of time stacked upon each other. These levels will end simultaneously in 2011. In addition, each level or “underworld” evolves twenty times faster than the previous one. This means that “time acceleration is driving evolution.” It also means that most people have lost their bearings and are caught in the whirlwind of history where everything is dualistic; each side of a given dilemma mirrors the other while both sides miss the inherent unity of all things. Like the tornado that takes Dorothy off to Oz, today’s whirlwind spins with unresolved dilemmas; the old energy must be released to clear the skies.
In my studies, this end-time of the calendar (2011/2012) signifies the end of Earth’s quarantine in the universe. We have been an abusive species that has been “kept” from contaminating the it, yet time acceleration suggests we are poised to reenter it. Through revelations I have been receiving from the Pleiadians since 1999, I have seen that only peaceful and enlightened beings can ever enter the universe. On Earth right now, we are in the middle of the Battle of the End Times. The only “winners” are going to be the ones who lay down their arms.
Earth’s quarantine for thousands of years has resulted in horrific distortions of human behavior and karmic development. As we stand at the threshold of a peaceful life in the universe, we need to heal the distortions in our homes, our world and ourselves.
Visualize the time since 1999 as the visible part of a huge arctic iceberg that is melting in the sun. Themes from the past layers of human consciousness are being pulled up into current time, processed and melted away. The powers in the world repeat the same old themes while searching for new ways to resolve differences and past mistakes. The new evolution calls for managing our own emotional frequencies, instead of spewing out old dualities. The ancient Maya saw we would arrive at this point now.
How do we manage our own emotional frequencies?
The system of nine dimensions with which we work and teach in our Activation Workshops describes the different aspects of human consciousness. Very adept students know where they are in the dimensions just by reading their own brain frequencies. Our brains are transducers of all the elements of Earth and the cosmos.
When we go into Earth’s core with prayers and respect in our workshops, the most consistent and enduring experience people have is of a creation place that contains all species of the plants and animals that have ever appeared on Earth’s surface.
Calleman says, “Raising our frequencies and awakening our minds through resonance with the Earth’s inner core are tantamount to following a path toward enlightenment.”
This is why my partner Gerry Clow and I explore activations with students around the world. This is our own personal contribution to the enlightenment path that is unfolding during the end of the Mayan Calendar through 2011.
