The Healing Power of Water: Dr. Masaru Emoto

Even in small quantities, over time water has the power to carve monuments that rival any of man's greatest architectural works. Its absence has sounded the death knell for entire civilizations and its abundance has altered the course of human history, geography and even life itself. Water has been the single greatest equalizer since man took his first steps on the planet. Yet its mysteries continue to inspire and confound.
Perhaps no one has done more to illuminate the true nature of water than Masaru Emoto. Born in Yokohama, Japan in July of 1943, he graduated from the International Relations course in the Department of Humanities and Sciences at Yokohama Municipal University. In 1986, he established the I.H.M. Corporation in Tokyo and in October of 1992 received certification from Open International University as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine. He also serves as head of I.H.M. General Research Institute Inc., and is the President of I.H.M. Inc. and chief representative of I.H.M.'s HADO Fellowship. His published works continue in this vein with well-received titles, including The Miracle of Water, The True Power of Water and his most famous title, The Hidden Messages in Water.
In the United States, Dr. Emoto was introduced to the concept of micro-cluster water and Magnetic Resonance Analysis technology. He stepped outside of the boundaries of traditional science to study water samples from around the planet as a human being and an original thinker.
His research has strong ties to the healing community. The idea that ³thoughts effect consciousness and therefore reality² is not a new one, but has gained more mainstream popularity with films like, What the Bleep Do We Know?! Here Emoto's groundbreaking research and vivid water crystal photography shed new light on the power of this precious resource and its implications for human evolution, healing and its powerful connection to human consciousness. It's this shift in consciousness that allows for miraculous healings to take place. Dr. Emoto's work is tangible evidence that frequencies of healing do exist.
In the film What the Bleep Do We Know?!, viewers are astounded to see photos of water crystals taken after certain words spoken in their presence form shapes. The crystallized water looks like the word written on its container. The phrase, ³You make me sick. I will kill you² presents as a swirling, diseased mass. This example becomes even more powerful when one considers that approximately 65 percent of the human body is made up of water. It begs the question: what powerful messages are we capable of sending and receiving as human beings?
The connection between consciousness and healing will be a hot topic at the Mastery and Practice Development Conference in Los Angeles, California July 30 through August 5, 2007. At the conference, the dynamic link between water and wellness will be widely discussed by Dr. Emoto and other distinguished speakers, including Dr. Eric Pearlan internationally recognized healer and teacher.
Throughout history, we've experienced the power of water externally and internally. Our eyes see it carve the landscape and our bodies depend on it for survival. Dr. Emoto's groundbreaking work is the definitive link between what we think and feel and its power to create real results in our lives.
French dramatist Jean Giraudoux said, "Water is the one substance from which the earth can conceal nothing; it sucks out its innermost secrets and brings them to our very lips."
Giraudoux hinted at the practical connection between water and man with this statement. Emoto proved a picture is worth a thousand words.
A Mirror To The Outside World: Dr. Emoto Talks About Water
On a recent trip to Southern California, water research pioneer and best selling author Dr. Masaru Emoto took time off from his schedule to answer a few questions about his research with water, both present and future. His words are reminders of the importance of this simple yet essential substance to every aspect of life.
VM: You have said that "water mirrors the outside world" and that "water is the mirror of the soul." Can you expand a little on these concepts?
ME: It means that if you are happy, the water in front of you is happy and if you are unhappy, the water in front of you would also be unhappy. Therefore, water and human are connected to each other. The consciousness of every one of us can be transmitted to water. This consciousness creates a morphogenetic field and, as a result, influences the climate and energy of the earth.
VM: In your experiments, you first exposed water to different kinds of music. The vibrations of the various styles changed the structure of the water crystals in the bottle. Then you exposed water to written words and this also changed the crystal structure of the water. How can simply exposing water to written words change its structure?
EM: I believe in the saying: "In the beginning was the word" from the Bible. That is why the water crystals are changed by words. I am now doing research about this and I am getting the answers. The results should be published in my new book that will be coming out in three months.
VM: Do the crystals exposed to written sayings change in the same way as when exposed to sound?
EM: There is an energetic difference depending on what is exposed to water, but both words and music theoretically change the structure of water in the same way.
VM: You say in your book, The Hidden Message in Water, that water exposed to the words Love and Gratitude form the most perfect and beautiful crystals. What does this say about the importance of these words in general?
ME: Without knowing the existence of God, we could not solve the mystery of this world. I believe this world was created and designed by God's intention. He created water as a means to convey the information rapidly. So in this sense, the water is a messenger of God. Creator etched two basic Yin and Yang energies into waterLove and Gratitude/ Thanks. He made the ratio 1 to 2 (1 part Love and 2 parts Gratitude/Thanks) so that free energy could be provided when people really understood the meaning of H2O. I know a scientist who is doing research on the power of love and gratitude. I believe there will be more scientists to follow him.
VM: Can you comment on the connection between the elements and human emotions? How is water important in this relationship?
ME: The dissertation I submitted when I acquired a doctorate of alternative medicine was the "Relationship Between Feelings, Organs and Elements". For example, feelings of a grudge go along with a skin cell and collect lead toxins. It could cause an inflammation or cancer of the skin. Also, feelings of loneliness go along with the hippocampus of the brain and collect aluminum. This could cause Alzheimer.¹s Disease. Water can play a role as intermediary and materialize these Hado (vibrations or wave motions).
VM: Some doctors and researchers say that human immortality can be achieved within the next fifty years. Given what you know about the nature of water, thought and the evolving human consciousness, do you think this is possible? If so, how?
ME: I am not sure if this could be achieved in 50 years but I believe that if you understand the teachings of the principals of the quantum world and practice this everyday of your life, you could share a longer life with other people, for sure. There is an account that talks about an emperor who lived for several hundred years in ancient Japan.
VM: Your research and books thus far have helped millions of individuals around the world understand the importance of water for the overall consciousness and well-being of ourselves and the planet. Is there any new research or avenues of exploration you are currently involved in that you would like to share with readers? Are there any new avenues that you would like to explore in the future?
ME: As I said before, I am working on the verification of the phrase "In the beginning was the word." I believe by using pure words, there would be no disease and no problems with society and countries. As a future project, I would like to succeed EMOTO PROJECT (for more information on this project, check out www.internationalwaterforlifefoundation.org) and create a world where people can get free energy from water by using resonance theory. If we could achieve this, we would not be fighting for energy sources and people could live equally and peacefully.
VM: Is there anything else you would like to comment on?
ME: Yes. I am collecting Hado Instructors all over the world who can work together with me to spread the messages of world peace through water. We now have about 250 instructors around the world.
