MISSION POSSIBLE: A Powerful Audio Program to Help You Find Passion and Purpose in Life

A conversation with Drew Heriot, Director of THE SECRET, and Michele Blood

Michele: Drew you certainly have accomplished a great “mission possible” with The Secret; people are watching it all over the world and are waking up to The Law Of Attraction and how our thoughts and feelings do create our world. Thank you so much for your amazing contribution to the consciousness of our planet. Today I would like to go beyond that and talk about purpose for Vision readers, and how sometimes challenges that come up in life can actually be a blessing in disguise to get us on track.

Drew: Thanks Michele. Well, if we can look at every event that we attract into our lives free of any judgment and without labeling it as good or bad, then we're able to move to a place of seeing how it pushes us toward our vision. The clearer we are on our vision, the clearer the purpose of all our attractions will be. So it's important to have a clear vision of what we want to experience and from that place we will realize that events are not simply random, but that we are working with every day magic.
Michele: Well first it is important to know what you want to do. Find something that excites you and then turn over the how it is to be done within, as our higher self always knows the “how.” I know that writing out a mission statement and having a team of people who are excited as we are––even if that team is only one to begin with––then miracles do occur, provided that we are clear about what we want. Do you have a personal example Drew?

Drew: One of the first films I ever made when I was 16 was short animation. We painstakingly animated every frame but when we got the film back from the lab we discovered that the film had been overexposed and completely ruined from light leaking into the camera. We chose to do the film again, which took weeks, and in retrospect we can now see how the animation was far better than our first attempt. The film consequently won awards and opened up my career as a professional director. So I can clearly see now how some of the most challenging events that at the time disappoint us can be the greatest blessings if we never give up on our dream or purpose. The Journey is the Destination
SpaceShare Green Travel

We all know there are carpool and public transportation options to help us get to work and back everyday in more ecologically conscious and responsible ways. But, as we well know, we also have fulfilling lives and activities outside of our work existences: weddings, reunions, conferences, festivals and more. In the past, finding transportation to these events was our own issue; that is, until the creation of Oakland's SpaceShare Green Travel program. A new environmental organization helping us to travel green beyond our work commutes, SpaceShare helps its users rely on their communities for shared rides to 50 gatherings each year (and quickly growing). Working directly with event planners using what they call “community weaving” tools, the program is becoming an integral part of the “festival greening” movement. But SpaceShare doesn't stop at festivals. They are also introducing a new alternative for environmental responsibility at professional conferences, coordinating ride and hotel room-shares for attendees, and even going so far as to connect long distance travelers on their flights. Not only will you save gas, but you'll also meet neighbors who share your love for certain causes, music, and other special events. Replace cars with community; check out SpaceShare at www.spaceshare.com/upcoming for a list of events, or to learn how to post your own. -JD
